AMAZON PRIME WARDROBE : TRY BEFORE YOU BUY

Amazon may have just solved the biggest problem with online shopping. The massive e-tailer announced a new service today called Prime Wardrobe, a “try before you buy” service where you can test clothing for free before committing to an online purchase. Once you choose the items you want, you only have to pay for what you keep.

The service will include millions of items from top brands including Calvin Klein, Theory, J Brand, Hugo Boss and more. Eligible items include women’s, men’s, children’s and baby’s apparel, as well as shoes and accessories. And there are no extra fees if you’re already an Amazon Prime member; shipping and returns are free.

Here’s how it works: choose up to three items during your Amazon online shopping spree. When the products arrive, you have seven days to try the pieces on and decide what to keep. Shoppers who decide to keep five or more items can save up to 20% on their next order.

Then, return what you don’t want (using the resealable box and prepaid label included in your delivery) by dropping off the package at your closest UPS store, or schedule it to get picked up for free.

Amazon, which bought Whole Foods last week for 13.7 billion dollars, is yet to set an official launch date yet for Prime Wardrobe; however, users can sign up now to be notified when it’s launched. Check out the teaser video for the subscription service below.
